Knight Farms, LLC is looking for flatbed truck drivers.


Drivers of flatbeds must have experience combined with physical strength to succeed in this role. All flatbed truck drivers must have a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Drivers must have clean driving records and over-the-road hauling experience. Drivers must be flexible regarding work hours and able to work some weekends. Flatbed truck drivers must have the physical capabilities required to drive a truck for long periods of time. They must be strong enough to tie down their loads properly and safely. Our drivers are provided with new, safe, clean, and comfortable Mack or Volvo trucks. 

Job Type: Full-time


Pay:

  • $50,000-$75,000
  • Drivers Receive a percentage per load
  • Drivers are paid weekly via direct deposit

● Driver's License (Required)

● Air Brake Endorsement (Preferred)

Trucking freight handling:

● Secure freight by hand


Trucking payment:

● Percent per load

● High school diploma or equivalent

● CDL – Class A

● 21 years or older

● Some flatbed OTR trucking experience

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:


● Must tie your loads down to their trucks. This must be done properly to ensure safe transportation.

● Plan your driving routes using maps or GPS tracking.

● Reach the client/destination by the predetermined time.

● Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.

● Follow all applicable traffic laws.

● Drivers must keep a detailed log of travel time, mileage and sleep hours to document

that they have complied with the regulations set in place by the Department of Transportation by using the Motive app.

● Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.

● Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.

● Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.

● Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.

● Keep your truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.

● Take rest periods during trip.
